Insulators are designed to increase the creepage distance and play two fundamental roles in overhead transmission lines: supporting the conductors and preventing current from flowing back to ground. Both of these functions must be reliably ensured. In dry-type transformers, insulators are categorized for use at low and high voltage levels, and they are installed symmetrically on the left and right sides.
Our company’s insulators are manufactured by combining short-cut glass fibers with unsaturated resin, then molded and fitted with threaded holes (hole diameter can be customized). They feature high mechanical strength, excellent dispersion properties, reliable and safe operation, superior mechanical performance even at low temperatures, outstanding contamination resistance, enhanced seismic tolerance, and minimal radio interference.
